Your privacy and data sovereignty are fundamental to our homestead ethos.
1. Information We Collect
We collect account information (such as your name and email address provided during registration) and the homestead operational records you voluntarily store in the application.
2. Local-First Storage
When operating in local mode, all machinery telemetry, tasks, and garden records are stored directly within your browser's isolated local storage.
3. Third-Party Integrations
- Cloudflare Edge Infrastructure: Used for secure session management and distributed database persistence.
- NHTSA VPIC API: Used anonymously to decode VIN numbers. No user identifying info is sent to NHTSA.
4. Data Export & Deletion
You can export a full JSON dump of your entire database or delete your account records at any time directly from the Settings page.
